working on my film for school.
thumbnails for shots, some read some don't!
I have a problem of going into waaaay too much detail and stressing myself out to a point of extreme anxiety.
I think it's good to take a step back and see maybe you don't need to make everything so detailed and "perfect"; stop freaking yourself out. there are places in a frame that don't need insane levels of detail.
I was working on this background that would be a pan-shot, so the pixel size was 7000x some other extreme number. That's a big file for someone who zooms in 300x to refine every shingle. :P
I was spending days on those little details that when I would zoom out, there was no progress. Actually I think the shot was becoming less and less readable.
No wonder I'm freaking out.
So I shrunk the file down to a thumbnail and the frame did not read well. Oh dear!
Making an illustration is much more different than a readable film shot. Ooooooops!
I'm glad that only have the film has detailed backgrounds. phew.
I'm super behind... but I guess I'll just do what I can and try to keep my jets cooled.
took my panshot, and shrunk it down to try to figure out a better palette. I was trying to go for a Moroccan color theme, but I went way too green with the first go about. The bottom two are more like the Story concepts, but I dig a bit of aqua. Ach mein mit das!
