The disguise of a Tree God

So the phrases, "Dat ass", "Shit fucker", and "Oi tuga" seemed to have invaded my everyday vocabulary. Oi Tuga! I'll need to work on that.

Terrible Mr. Ticking man

I recently got an E-mail from the animation studio I interviewed at over the break. Maybe I'll have a shot at an internship this summer afterall. :)

Anyways
I've heard a lot of good things about Disney's Tangled. I'd like to see it, but in the meantime i've been watching up on Glen Keane and how he goes about creating his art.

He can just draw a character from head first, without any sketching beforehand! That's some crazy talent, or I guess just another way of drawing. :- )

When they throw stones, I float above the world

Oh hai bloggy boppers!
Scribble saucer! I'm trying to upload more art here, but a lot of it's going to be doodle poopsicles!
So sorry about my messy madness, you lovely lobotomists.

My brother got into this nuclear research school in Los vegas! The school is a month long, and he gets paid! whatttt. I suppose it's similar to a Graduate position or internship. :)
Congratulations, mein bruder!

Both my brother and sister have internship things for the summer. Oops! W
ell, I'll at least get a job and hopefully not be shunned by the Loelius clan. :0 I'll go apply around town tomorrow.
And hopefully I can get my Irish citizenship soon. All we really need to do is go to the embassy in New York and hand our papers in. So O'huzzah!

I'm also making some Dr. Who themed Jewelry for my c
ool cats. Because why? Because cat!
I made the Tardis and Matt Smith for myself, because I'm a tool. :) I think I'm making chazzmaster either an ood or a weeping angel necklace.

Oh yes!
I made a facebook in case I get a new roommate and I need to contact them. Also, I'll probably have to transition to a new e-mail, so in case I need to get in touch with people. I didn't use my name though, because I'm paranoid. :\\\\\ I don't really want to use it much, so maybe it'll just wither away!

Aaaand off on my School-related nonsensical nonsense ramblings!

Oh man.
I'm not sure what to do about college at this point. I'm becoming more and more hesitant about switching over to Mason Gross. :\
I was offered a really good scholarship to a more liberal arts school, so in those regards I wouldn't have as much debt for the next30 years. : 0 But on the other hand, there are very limited art classes and the majority are in subjects I don't have too much interest in/ aren't related to what I'd like to do as a career.
Uarts will put me in a lot of debt, and seeing as I wasn't really happy with what I was getting out of my classes, I'm not sure that debt is worthwhile. The school does offer more classes and resources though, and that would allow more independent study. I don't think you should rely on your school to get you to the level you want to be at, but I also don't think it should put you in a lifetime's worth of debt.
If I go to Mason Gross, I'd have more freedom financially and also be able to study other subjects than just art.
But I like art. : o : o
I have a four year scholarship to Mason Gross though, so if I hold off on graduating, I could study abroud for 3 years and just poop around the world!
I want to apply to calarts after graduating, so I figure if I'm going to go into debt, it'll be for a school worthwhile!

Popsicle poop, I don't know what to do!

Mr. meow's metamorphosis

supsup

Yesterday there was a steampunk convention in New Brunswick, so my peepadeeps and I popped on over to yocheckitcheckit! wickywick.

It was pretty cool! We didn't do much because registration into the convention cost 35 bucks a day per person, sofuckthat, but we wandered around where we could and looked at all the dressed up people. :)

I like the gizmos in her hair :0

I wonder if there's a steampunk community in New Jersey or something, seeing as a lot of people were dressed up similarly. (Architects being a apopular theme, it seemed?) Well I don't know much about steampunk, but it seems pretty cool. The people remind me of all the teenage vagabonds in Montreal. Pretty cool!

I also saw an Elf in a kimono and someone dressed up as a cat from Cats the musical. Whatever floats your zepplin!

and someone had the Tardis as a license plate!

Celestial Soup

Ohhai!
My sister had a tea party today. :)
It was kind of awkward because I didn't know anyone there really, but they made really yummy looking stuff! My brother's girlfriend made a peach pie that looked awesome, but I couldn't have it because of that gluten thang. :\ It was picture-perfect though! She's so sweet. :)
And my sister, her boyfriend Steven, and I made vegan, gluten-free strawberry blueberry muffins! They were the best muffins I ever had. :000
No joke.
It seemed like a nice little get together. :)

Anywaysss.
Here's another Kazakh hunter. Her name is Aidos! It's a Kazakhstan name that means "moon friend"!
She's got some pretty large thighs. : 0

Ok, and this is Kosim! It means lamb... and if you spell it with an "a" instead of an "o", it means eyebrows! He looks more like a samurai, whoops!

They probably won't be in my animation, because I want it to be a single character journey (give it a really lonely/empty feeling).
But they're fun to draw! And help me come up with a feel for the world. :)
I want to learn Maya or whatever 3d programs are out there for animation and try these characters/story out with it. I think they'd be more effective in 3d, but with the textures of 2d ...if that makes sense; Very stylized art textures instead of realistic!

10 minute moon man

Sup samas?

So, Doctor Who!
The newest season is out and oh boy does it put David Tennant's to shame. I really like that it started off (besides the Christmas Special) with a bang and is putting us through the ringer with all these fillers. I want more River Song! The anticipation adds on to the enjoyment because of all the conversations and speculations that come about because of it. :)
spoilers

I really hope that River Song is the astronaut suited child, or at least that the kid is Amy Pond's daughter/ a time lord. My sister brought up that she could even be a Tardis because of how they both glowed, which would make Neil Gaiman's boasting of "My episode is a Game Changer" actually make sense. I was reading some other theories on a DW forum, and one person suggested that it could even be the doctor in the suit. hmmm.
All I know is River Song has to be moy importante! But if she's Amy's daughter, than that would mean Rory's her dad. :\ Or possibly the Doctor. Noooope.
I'm sure that the majority of our speculations are either digging too much into things or are too obvious, but I hope one of us is right. Or that it's completey different, but amazingly so!

I like that this (and last) season have a running story line instead of just episodic shananigans.
What a good show!

also!
I'm going to try to avoid gluten for awhile and see if it fixes some of my issues. I experimented for a month without it and I felt much better; my anxiety and depression seemed less severe along with physical symptoms disappearing. So my sister's helping me out with that mumbojumbo. :)

I know a couple people with similar anxiety and depression issues and maybe it's gluten intolerance! Probably not, but I think you guys should check yourselves out for anything along those lines. You never know!
It's harder to bake, but we can fight through it comrades!

The magician's last rabbit.

Hello jane, how's the game?

My brother's home! :) Now I can nag someone with my boredom.

I'm thinking about going to Mason Gross next semester instead of Uarts. :\ I got a scholarship that would basically pay my tuition, so I figure that's better for everyone.
BUT OH MAN.
It was pretty awesome. I asked the woman I'm corresponding with at the school if there was any scholarship I could apply for and she got me this! Wow, it pays off to ask. Always ask!
I really wish I could go to SCAD, but it's too much money (I'd be paying off 800$ a month for the next 30 yearsssss) and i'd also have to start as a sophmore. So i'd have to pay 3 years instead of 2. Wah!

what else.

I've also planted a grape vine in the backyard and sunflowers in the front! I hope it'll make my Mawh happy, seeing as she's been sad/stressed the past couple days. :\ I want to buy her sneakers and some comfortable clothes so she can go out after work. :)

this is Belpah, he's a fantastical Kazakh hunter! I'm going to try to make an animation this summer about him and his adventures. :)

Can I sell you a dream?

Hello Joe, whatdya know?

School is over! :) (Well, I have a painting crit tomorrow, but that's only 15 minutes! )I had my final animation critique on Friday, which was pretty nerve-wracking, but not as bad as it could've been seeing as Karl Staven didn't sit in to watch alongside the other teachers.
I have a lot of work to do in order to be ready for next year's work load and being at the level I need to be in order to make more fluid animations. (for a junior piece.)

I think I'm either getting a job in Jersey or interning in Philly, so that should be good.
Either one, I should have enough free time to work on a personal animation/3d practice, drawing practice.

Oh! I'm making a garden in my backyard. :) I'm planting pumpkins, cantaloupes, and watermelons! We also have a small strawberry and basil plant, but they've already grown. =x
I wish I could make a huge garden, but being the white trash family we are, there's too much unnecessary crap out there that's in the way.
